Is the North Hollywood pub scene on the cusp of a renaissance?
With the Idle Hour revamp and BarToni’s opening tonight, North Hollywood has certainly been on the upswing as of late. Now, another boon for the city joins the ranks, with The Fat Dog North Hollywood finally slinging bar bites, craft beers, and some serious cocktails.
Eater caught word that The Fat Dog would be opening its second outlet (the first was originally located in Montrose then bounced over to Hollywood) way back in June of 2013. Although it initially tracked to open a year later, the highly anticipated neighborhood gastropub swung open its doors for the first time today.
